André MAZINGA KUMAKWESE is an Agricultural Engineer trained at the University of Kinshasa. In 2005, he obtained his diploma in agronomy in the Natural Resources Management sector, Fauna and Flora option. He then followed several training courses in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing applied to environmental management.

Before being hired at OSFAC as RS/GIS Officer in March 2011, he worked as a GIS Expert Consultant at the Directorate of the National Health Information System (DSNIS) of the Ministry of Health for a year (2010-2011). ).

Also, he managed the GIS unit of the Belgian Technical Cooperation (CTB) for two years between 2008 and 2010 as part of the PREPICO project (Program for the Rehabilitation and Maintenance of Trails in Congo). His career at OSFAC is punctuated by several internships and training courses on GIS and remote sensing in the United States, Brazil, Kenya, the Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
